Simple Thanksgiving Tablescapes

After months of absence from my blog it is time to get in the swing of things.  With Thanksgiving just a week away I thought this would be the perfect time to post easy, but beautiful, tablescapes for your dinner table.

Use a lantern, fill with candles and simple add  your favorite spray to top.
Could not be more simple, mini pumpkins and curly willow.

Use any rustic box, fill with a small bunch of flowers...easy peasy.
This is a bit more challenging, but very worth it!
Fill a vase with Acorns, or any type filler and  top with candles.
Rustic basket with mason jars, fill with candy corn and candles.

I hope this helps inspire your Thanksgiving table decor!!!!!

I have been quite neglectful of my blog, obviously!  So today I am creating some things here in the store and will be updating with pictures.  As well as beginning to show off some of my Autumn decorating inspirations ( I know it seems to soon, but it will be here before you know it).  So, stay tuned...

The promise of Spring

This umbrella "wreath" is a fun alternative to a traditional door hanging, and it looks really cute too.

If you just cant live without a wreath, this soft colored yarn wreath is simple, elegant and just plain pretty.
A fresh, soft bunch of flowers and a jar with colored eggs.  Easter and Spring all in one.
A cut crate full of flowers.  Perfect if you have a small space, but want to make a big statement.
More eggs and flowers.  You just cannot go wrong with this combination, it creates a nice visual for a tablepiece.

Can it be?  50 degrees on January 31st!  The air had the familiar and welcoming smell of Spring, and with it brought the urge to get out the spring decor.  I can almost smell the hyacinths and see the tulips blooming (well not really, but a girl can dream).  I love the fresh colors that this emerging season promises, as well as the change to liven up the dreary, empty feeling the house has since taking down the Christmas decorations.  This year I have some fun projects planned for my interior decorations (we will get to the outdoors once it is really spring).
